Purpose

What the day covers.

Islamic framing

The body as a trust.

Where relevant, the workshop draws on concepts from the founder's Islamic worldview. It is delivered respectfully, does not issue religious rulings, and welcomes girls of every background.

  • Fitrah

The natural disposition we were created upon — including the hair we were given.

  • Amanah of the body

The body as a trust to be cared for, not a project to be fixed.

  • Self-respect

Dignity that does not depend on anyone else's standard.

  • Intentional care

Caring for yourself on purpose, with niyyah.
